Sameer Wankhede: NCB nabs Zambian ex-army man with 4 kg Heroin

On the basis of secret information, a team of NCB Mumbai Zonal Unit- Headed by Mr. Sameer Wankhede, seized 4 Kg Heroin (Commercial Quantity) and intercepted one Zambian National namely Kenith Mulowa at CSI Airport,

Mr. Wankhede explained, “Heroin (Di-Acetyl Morphine) is an opioid drug made from morphine, a natural substance in the seedpod of the poppy plant. It can be mixed with water and injected with a needle. Heroin can also be smoked or snorted up the nose. All of these ways of taking heroin sends it to the brain very quickly. This makes it very addictive”.

Further adding, he said  “Since last two days, NCB-Mumbai mounted surveillance near his hotel & Airport area. The team of NCB followed the Zambian national from the hotel to Airport and nab him red-handed with 4 kgs of Heroin. During the operation, one NCB officer was dressed up as Air India staff for nabbing him.

Kenith Mulowa had come to receive his mishandled trolley bag. During a search of his bag, three cavities were found. In those cavities, packets of Heroin were found concealed. The total weight of the 3 packets containing Heroin is 4 Kg.

Mr. Sameer Wankhede NCB- Mumbai Chief, an IRS officer has struck “fear and panic” among Drug Mafia both “Nationally and Internationally”.
