Chief Minister Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray inspected the damage caused by Cyclone Tokte in Sindhudurg district.
Mr Thackeray said, “Climate change and other factors have caused hurricanes to hit our coast in the last few years. Uninterrupted power supply, permanent sheds for migrants, such permanent facilities need to be set up for the entire coast of Maharashtra.”
 

 

Mr Thackeray said,”Permanent facilities are needed from storm preparedness to rescue everyone from the storm. 90% of the work of Panchnama has been completed. Preliminary assessments are being made of all types of damage, including damage to houses, fishing boats, and fallen trees. Actual help will begin once this review is complete.”
 
Mr Thackeray also announced the Distribution of free Shiv Bhojan Thali extended till 14th June 2021.
