Sameer Wankhede: NCB intensifies drive against drug peddlers, 3 held- one African National absconding

On the occasion of up coming International day against drug Abuse and illicit trafficking NCB Mumbai has launched week long intense efforts against Drug Suppliers and Peddlers in Mumbai, NCB Mumbai and booked 03 cases at various places of Mumbai and seized a LSD blots ( commercial quantity) Mephedrone (commercial quantity)and Cannabis on 17.06.2021 and intercepted 03 Indian national namely Sachin Tupe , Afsar Khan and Fahad Salim qureshi, further Interrogation of the said accused is going on.

OPS- I:

In follow up action of NCB cr 56/2021( Weed Bakery Case),NCB Mumbai arrested one associate Sachin Tupe from Marol Area and recovere LSD (11 blots) in commercial quantity from him. Presently accused Sachin Tupe is in NCB custody for further investigation.

OPS- II:

On specific information received on 17.06.2021. The team of NCB Mumbai intercepted one Auto driver Afsar khan from Goregaon ( west) and recovered 20 grams Cocaine. Afsar was supplying Cocaine for One African national based at Mira Road Mumbai. The African man used to give cocaine at the start of day for distribution to high end customers as per demand. NCB is trying to locate said African National. NCB cr. No. 59/2021 registered for said offence.

OPS:III

On specific information received on 18.06.2021, NCB Mumbai searched house at Mahim area and recovered 60 gram of MD and 360 grams Ganja stored for illicit sale. One person has been brought for questioning and further investigation. NCB cr. No. 60/2021 registered for said offence.
