Sameer Wankhede: NCB seizes 20 kg Marijuana, Criminal Azim bhau picked, Lady Drug Don Rukhsana on the run
In accordance with its on-going zero tolerance policy against drug trafficking in Mumbai, teams of NCB Mumbai launched 02 operations on 18.09.2021. During these operations, teams of NCB Mumbai seized 20 Kgs of Marijuana, intermediate quantity of Mephedrone and intercepted most wanted criminal namely Mohammad Azim Abu Saleem@ Azim Bhau.
OPS-I:
On the basis of specific information, NCB Mumbai conducted Joint Operation with RPF Kalyan at Railway Station, Kalyan and seized 20 Kgs of Marijuana in Konark Express on 17.09.2021.
– On 17.09.2021, RPF, Kalyan reported unaccompanied baggage from Train No. 11020-Konark Express. After checking of the baggage, 20 Kgs of Marijuana was found in the unclaimed baggage.
NCB Mumbai seized the unclaimed 20 Kgs of Marijuana. Further investigation is going on. NCB Mumbai has registered the case in Crime No 89/2021.
OPS-II:
On the basis of intelligence developed, NCB Mumbai raided one empty flat situated at Aura Apartment, Sector – 10, Kharghar, Navi Mumbai and intercepted one most wanted criminal namely Mohammad Azim Abu Saleem @ Azim Bhau and seized intermediate quantity of Mephedrone from his possession on 17.09.2021.
Mohammad Azim Abu Saleem @ Azim Bhau is a notorious Criminal and drug trafficker of Mumbai. He was earlier booked in Cases of 302,307,326 IPC and 436 IPC at various Police Stations/ Units such Nagpada Police Station ,JJ Marg Police Station, Crime Branch and Anti-Extortion Cell.
Mohammad Azim Abu Saleem @ Azim Bhau is mastermind of NCB, Mumbai Crime No. 88/2021 and he is wanted in this case. In this case, NCB Mumbai seized 2.05 Kgs of Mephedrone, 3.9 Kg of Ephedrine & 45 grams of Charas and arrested 04 persons from Mumbra & Pune on 14.09.2021. He is also wanted in NCB Cr No 32/2021 of NCB MZU.
