DCP Narcotics Datta Nalawade: 2 arrested by ANC Azad Maidan unit with MD Mephedrone Drug worth Rs 8 lakhs
Mumbai Police DCP Narcotics Datta Nalawade informed 2 people have been arrested by ANC Azad Maidan unit with MD Mephedrone Drug worth Rs 8 lakhs. Case CR 84/2021 has been registered under various provisions of the NDPS act. The arrests have been affected by Azad Maidan Unit of the Anti Narcotics cell. The area of crime near Priental Hotel, Maulana Shaukat Ali Rd, Nagpada, Mumbai.
The residents of Nagpada and Kamathipura have been complaining of one individual named “Abdul” for a long time, whom they believe is indulging in drug peddling in the area. Based on the inputs received the ANC- Azad Maidan unit under ACP Sandeep Kale, Sr Police Inspector Rajendra Dahifale and other officers namely Abhijit Patil and others apprehended two people Abdul Hamid Abdul Sattar Pathan and Isaq Iqbal Hussain Syed alias Bhaijaan. Search of the apprehended revealed 80 grams of MD-Mephedrone Drug which values at Rs 8,00,000-
