DCP Narcotics Datta Nalawade: MD Mephedrone worth 16 lakhs seized, History sheeter with 13 cases and externment order nabbed
Mumbai Police , DCP Narcotics Datta Nalawade informed that MD Mephedrone worth 16 lakhs seized, History sheeter with 13 cases and externment order nabbed. Two have been arrested, Case 94/2021 registered and 160 grams of Mephedrone seized. Further investigations underway.
SR PI Bandra ANC- Anti Narcotics cell- Bandra Unit, Chavan and officers Karkar, Powle and others laid a trap at Four Bungalows, Mhada Colony near Podar Jumbo Kids Andheri west and arrested Abdullah Owaisi Iqbal Shaikh and recovered 100 grams of MD- Mephedrone from him. Further investigations led to Altaf Abdul Rehman Shaikh from whose house in Versova Andheri Shivneri Society a further 60 grams was recovered.
It is further learnt that accused no 2- Altaf Abdul Rehman Shaikh is a history sheeter with 13 cases against him. Which includes a Rape case, from which he was just out on bail. He was also externed from Goregaon Police Station.
