DCP Narcotics Datta Nalawade: ANC Kandivali unit, seizes Charas worth Rs 30.3 lakhs, one arrested
Mumbai Police DCP Anti Narcotics Cell Datta Nalawade informed that ANC Kandivali seized Charas 1.10 Kg -worth Rs 30.3 lakhs, one person has been arrested. Case has been registered CR-104/2021 under various sections of the NDPS act. Further investigations are on.
Receiving tip-off Anti Narcotics Cell of Mumbai Police, Kandivali laid a trap near Tiger Hill Goregaon. One person with a bag wasa moving in a suspicious manner. When intercepted and searched 1.10 kg of Charas was recovered from him which values at Rs 30.3 lakhs. The Charas was brought from UP. Further investigations are on to find out the international links. Kandivali Unit operation headed by Officers Rupesh Naik, Dopewal, Khandagle, Aadkar and others.
