DCP Narcotics Datta Nalawade: Heroin worth Rs 3 Crores seized one arrested
Mumbai Police DCP Anti Narcotics Cell informed today that the Azad Maidan Unit of the ANC has seized Heroin 1 kg worth Rs 3 crores. A case has been registered CR- 4/2022 under various sections of the NDPS Act, further investigations are on.
The ANC had a specific input about Heroin being supplied to Mumbai from Pratapgad, Rajasthan. Likewise a trap was laid in Borivali from where the accused from Pratapgad Rajasthan was arrested. Search on his person revealed 1 kg of Heroin, which was recovered from him. He has previous cases against him and was wanted by ANC-Worli.
Officers led by Atul Dahake, which had other Sr officers Rajendra Dahifale, Mansinh Kale, Abhijeet Patil, Amit Devkar & team of ANC Azad Maidan Unit, affected the operations
