DCP Narcotics Datta Nalawade: Drugs worth Rs 51.75 Lakhs seized, 3 arrested in two operations
Mumbai Police DCP Anti Narcotics Cell Datta Nalawade informed that Drugs worth Rs 51.75 Lakhs seized, 3 arrested in two operations. The Kandivali Unit seized 115 kg of Marijuana worth Rs 33.75 Lakhs, arrested two , seized Car Honda Accord Drugs concealed in bottom of Car. Case CR- 6/22 has been registered. Ghatkopar seized an individual with 120 grams MD- Mephedrone worth Rs 18,00,000 and case CR-07/22 has been registered . Further investigations are on. Cases registered under various sections of NDPS.
Kandivali Unit of ANC under tip off laid a trap outside Ghatkopar Bus depot. The car Honda Accord was intercepted . Search of the designed cavities inside the car led the Cell to recover 115 kg of Marijuana. The operations were lead by Savlaram Agavne, Head of Kandivali Unit Mr Rupesh Naik, Dopewad, Khandagle, Aadkar and team.
In the other operation headed by Ghatkopar unit of ANC headed by Lata Sutar, Khan and Sachin Powle and team detained a youth at Jijamata Nagar, Mahul Gaon recovered 120 grams of MD Mephedrone from him.

1) Imran Abrar Hussain Ansari, Age 42 yrs, Occup- Driver, r/o. R no. 06, E wing, Sultana villa, Dadi colony, Amrut nagar, Mumbra, Dist. Thane
2) Ismail Salim Shaikh, age. 21 yrs, r/o. Ramrahim welfare society, Arey Rd, Next to Hanuman temple, Powai, Mumbai
Arrested on- 23/01/22 at 16.50 hrs
