Actor Nora Fatehi files defamation suit of Rs 200 crore against Jacqueline Fernandez

Now news comes to light that the actor has filed defamation suit of Rs 200 crore against Jacqueline Fernandez
She seems to have lost shows, brand deals after Jacqueline’s statement.
Nora alleges that Jacqueline made “defamatory imputations due to malicious reasons.
Jacqueline Fernandes sought to criminally defame the complainant in order to destroy her career to further her own interests, since they are both working in the same industry and have similar backgrounds, amongst other reasons,” Nora Fatehi said in her plea.
As per the actor, she lost brand deals and several shows following Jacqueline’s statements, and her reputation has been had ruined because of her media trial.
According to a reports in a section of the media, Nora alleges that Jacqueline made “defamatory imputations due to malicious reasons”.
Reportedly,Jacqueline Fernandes sought to criminally defame the complainant in order to destroy her career to further her own interests, since they are both working in the same industry and have similar backgrounds, amongst other reasons.
Nora said she lost brand deals and several shows after Jacqueline’s statements. She added that her reputation has been ruined because of her media trial.
However, Nora has stated that she did not receive any gifts from Sukesh and that she is not linked to the conman directly.
Reportedly, Nora also named several media houses in her defamation plea and alleged that the “collective hounding of her by multiple media houses is akin to a mob lynching.”
Strongly coming down and alleging that her name has been ‘unfairly dragged’, the Street Dancer 3D actress added that it happened “at the behest of Jacqueline Fernandez.”
On the other hand, Jacqueline’s lawyer stated that the actress has ‘utmost respect for Nora’.
Both the actresses were questioned by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in connection with a money laundering case lodged against conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar.
