Maha CM Eknath Shinde to chair high level meet at 3 pm on Corona Variant
Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde chairs a high-level meeting today Thursday 22 December at 3 pm before state cabinet meeting in the evening to review the state preparedness to Corona variant.
The high-level meet called for comes close to the heels of sudden spurt in Corona variant cases globally and Union Health Ministry’s alert to all states and Union Territories.
Reportedly, Maha Dy.Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Wednesday, announced that the state government in consultation with the Union government will form a committee or task force to take further steps to tackle the situation.
Meanwhile, state health secretary has expressed confidence that the state has all the infrastructure in place and is prepared to tackle the new variant.
Although as of now, things are well under control, yet there is a need to be cautious before it turns fatal.
