Shah Rukh Khan donates undisclosed amount to Delhi accident victim Anjali Singh’s family
Even as people have been voicing that the King Khan of Bollywood never helps people in need, its a news for them that the King Khan has stepped forward to render help to the family of Anjali who died in car accident recently in Delhi.
Reportedly Shah Rukh Khan through his NGO Meer Foundation has donated an undisclosed amount to Anjali’s family to manage their finances in these tough times, as Anjali was the sole breadwinner of the household. This aid comes from SRK keeping in mind the health issues of Anjali’s mother and relief to siblibgs.
For the unversed, this isn’t for the first time that the foundation has come to the aid of crime victims and the needy. Amid the COVID-19 pandemic too, SRK ensured to help hundreds of people via his NGO.
The NGO is named after SRK’s father Meer Taj Mohammed Khan and it is known for working towards the empowerment of women.
On the professional front, the King Khan is currently awaiting the release of his highly-anticipated film ‘Pathaan’. The high-octane spy actioner also stars Deepika Padukone and John Abraham, and it is set to release in theatres on January 25.
‘Pathaan’ marks SRK’s return to the silver screen in a full-fledged role after four long hiatus.
Apart from ‘Pathaan’, he also has ‘Dunki’ in the pipeline with Rajkumar Hirani and ‘Jawan’ with Atlee.
