Yet another setback for Bollywood. The dawn of the New Year 2023 first snatched away legendary cinematographer Peter Pereira on 10 January and now Sanjay Chouhan, script writer of Paan Singh Tomar on 12 January.
He succumbed to liver ailment at 62. He is survived by his wife Sarita and daughter Sara.

His family informs in a statement that the last rites for the departed soul will be held on Friday, 13 January at the Oshiwara Hindu Cemetery
The actor is survived by his
wife Sarita and daughter Sara.

Chouhan was born and brought up in Bhopal where his father worked with the Indian Railways and his mother was a school teacher.

He started his career as a journalist in Delhi, and later moved to the ‘Mecca’ of Mumbai ‘Bollywood to try his luck to get a break as a Film writer.

In the year 2021 he scripted for television crime series ‘Bhanwar’ in the 1990s.

Apart ‘Paan Singh Tomar’ and
‘I am Kalam’, Chouhan was
co-writer for ‘Saheb Biwi Gangster’ with Tigmanshu Dhulia.

He has also written dialogues for ‘Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi’, ‘Dhoop’, ‘Say Salaam India’, and ‘Maine Gandhi Ko Nahin Mara’.
