Looking back: Little known facts on Rakesh Roshan and Hrithik Roshan

Rakesh Roshan was very popular during his days as an actor before he got married to Pinkie daughter of veteran filmmaker late J.Om Prakash and his hey days as a filmmaker.

Guddu as he is passionately addressed once lost his cool over his son Hrithik Roshan and literally hit him for throwing a beer bottle from the 13th floor of their building and made it known that it was the only time that he lost his coom with Hrithik.

Notably, Rakesh Roshan launched Hrithik in his romantic film “Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai”opposite new comer Ameesha Patel. The film made Hrithik a star. The film shot in exotic locations never ever touched by any other filmmakers.

Thereafter, there was no looking back for Hdithik.
The father-son duo went on to deliver more hits. Infact both father and son share a great relationship and have never behaved like father and son while on shoot.

They never mixed work with relationship. Hrithik was always a well disciplined person and respects his father to a large extent.

It was when I was handling his fan mail replies during the making of Kaho Na Pyar Hai that Hrithik recalled an interesting incident. While he was assisting his father and during shoots outside the country as well as in the country for not only Kaho Na Pyar Hai, but amid shoots of his father’s films outdoor, while his father was put up at Star Hotel he preferred to stay with the unit members and even if he had wanted to meet his father at his hotel, he had to take his permission. Now Hrithik leads a different life and independent. Nevertheless he keeps visiting his father and mother at their residence.

Meanwhile, it was amid an interview in the Simi Garewal show that Rakesh recalled the time he hit Hrithik.
