Actor Swara Bhasker looks to yesteryear actors for inspiration style looks
The year 2023 dawned on an exciting note for actor and social media sensation Swara Bhasker. She commenced her shoot for “Mrs Falani”, a Manish Kishore and Madhukar Verma directorial. She considers the offer as close to her heart as it gives her an opportunity to portray nine characters.
It is learnt that one of her avatars in the anthology is inspired by the vintage looks flaunted by ’60s actors Sadhana, and Asha Parekh. Swara will be seen sporting a fringe, which had become synonymous with the late Sadhana in her heydays.

life-infact, every actor’s dream to play many diverse characters in one movie. Her characters – varying from the ages of 30 to 42 – are drawn from nine states, including Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Rajasthan and Punjab. Each story revolves round a home-maker, thus exploring a different facet of women’s suppressed aspirations.
Meanwhile, for Swara, a part of the film has been an eye-opener for the actor who reveals, that she is amazed to see the intricacies that change from one home-maker to another every 10 miles.
