Veteran Bollywood actors Shatrughan Sinha and Amitabh Bachchan were closest friends and always shared cordial vibes.

Infact, Shatrugan Sinha and Amitabh Bachchan relationship turned sour by the time they started filming for Yash Chopra’s Kaala Patthar.

However, their friendship worsened when the Bachchan family never deemed it necessary to invite Shatrughan and his family to the grand wedding of Abhishek Bachchan with Aishwarya Rai. Apparenrly, the Bachchans sent a box of sweets to everyone they couldn’t invite to the wedding that included Shatrughan Sinha and family.

The actor-turned-politician also spoke about all the celebrities who were not invited amid the conversation with the media.

However, Bachchan family’s gesture did not go down well with Shatrughan Sinha. The veteran actor also spoke about it during a conversation with the media. “Jab bulaaya nahin phir mithai kis baat ki? He refused to accept it. Amitabh had said those who had not been invited were not his friends in the first place. That he won’t be put in second place and embarrass him by accepting the sweets.

Shatrughan further lashed out at Bachchans saying, “The least he expected was that either Amitabh or someone from the family would call him up before sending the sweets. When that was not done, why accept the sweets?

The actor-turned-politician also spoke about all the celebrities who were not invited. Hema Malini was not invited, neither were Dharmendra and Ramesh Sippy. Half of the industry has stood by the Bachchans through thick and thin. All of us are currently in second place as Amitabh was being guided by a misguided missile called Amar Singh.
