Notably, Subhash Ghai, has given Indian cinema biggest hits like ‘Karz’, ‘Hero’ and ‘Taal’ and many more.
Opening up to the media over an interaction what prompts him to dabble into Television, Ghai stressed that he considers it to be the most powerful medium as of today now that web series has become a trend with some filmmakers opting to the OTT Platform.
Infact “Television apart the most powerful medium has even the power to reform and redefine entertainment in our country. With ‘Jaanaki’ he aims to strengthen the movement of women empowerment.
His production house, Mukta Arts has finalised an agreement with the CEO of Prasar Bharti to produce the show. Doordarshan is the most viewed channel in India, it is an honour to associate with such an iconic brand for the first daily soap, Ghai concluded.
