No doubt of the fact that Stand-up Comedian Kapil Sharma’s The Kapil Sharma Show has turned out to be a big hit among the audience and one of the most raved about shows.
Kapil does a magnanimous job as the host of the show and keeps his audience in peels of laughter with his punches and fooling around with the guests.
After the show first premiered in 2016, it continues since then. Interestingly, different personalities from various walks of life continue to grace the show.
For the Bollywood Celebrities, the show has emerged as a novel platform to promote their films on the sets of the show.
In the upcoming weekend episode, the Gulmohar team comprising Sharmila Tagore, Manoj Bajpayee and others will grace the show.
In the promo shared by the makers of the show, Kapil welcomes the team of Gulmohar including Sharmila Tagore, Manoj Bajpayee, Suraj Sharma, Simran Bagga and Rahul Chittella. The promo looked fun as the comedian cracks jokes with the guests and also sings “Mere Sapno Ki Rani…” for Manoj and Simran as while they were grooving.
In one of the segments, Kapil made a hilarious comment on Sharmila’s dimple saying that ‘Sharmila is the first heroine whose dimple became very famous. Archana even told him to ask Sharmila whether she charges separately for her dimple along with acting?’ This left the audience in splits.
Gulmohar is a family
entertainer that revolves around a matriarch and her family and depicts how their lives change forever after she decides to sell their ancestral property. Sharmila Tagore plays the matriarch, while Manoj Bajpayee and Simran appear as her son and daughter-in-law. Director Rahul V Chittella and Arpita Mukherjee have penned story while Eeshit Narain is the director of photography. Siddharth Khosla has composed the songs and original score. Tanupriya Sharma handles the editing.
