It comes as good news for the cricket loving fans as the world mobilises to witness another set of of nail-biting 20-over encounters in the Pan-India Tata IPL 2023 kicking-off from March 31.

Be it bedazzling maximums, unsurpassed bowling depth, or facile fielding, the 16th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) will definitely be the one to savour. The IPL 2023 will feature a total of 70 league stage games and bring back all the depth, face-off, and whizz among cricket fans from across the globe. With some of the biggest names in the roster, this year’s IPL will draw even more attention as it will be played on home grounds.

Defending champions Gujarat Titans led by Hardik Pandya will aim to maintain their winning streak as they take on MS Dhoni-led Chennai Super Kings in the much-awaited tournament opener at Narendra Modi stadium in Ahmedabad. The 16th edition of the IPL could be a game-changer.

While there has been a decline in the number of COVID-19 cases in India we still have to be careful of the emerging strains which are becoming a concern at regular intervals. Positive cases will be isolated for maximum of seven days and will not be allowed to participate in any match or any form of activity-event amid the period of isolation.

While IPL 2022 was played at only four venues in Mumbai, the 2023 edition will be played across 12 cities from March 31, 2023 to May 21, 2023.

This will be the first time since the 2019 season that the tournament will be played in a home-and-away format.
The schedule and venues for the IPL 2023 playoffs are yet to be released by the governing body.
