Actors Simran and Laila unite after two decades in Arivazhagan directorial horror thriller “Shabdam”

It is a known fact that once Mumbaikar Simran moved to Kollywood to make it good in South films since she felt uncomfortable in Bollywood films. She has established herself and carved a niche as an actor to reckon with.

Recently, the actor shared a news that she is sharing screen space with Laila after two decades in Arivazhagan’s horror thriller “Sabdham” which also features Aadhi Pinisetty and Lakshmi Menon.

Notably in 90’s and 2000’s both the actors were blue-eyed girls in Kollywood and headlined. Earlier in 2000, she had shared screen space twice first in Parthen Rasithen, in 2000, and later in Pithamagan, in 2003.

Arivazhagan who helms “Sabdham” makes it known that
Simran and Laila share full-length roles that will be significant to thefilm’s plot and what’s more both the actors are professional and co-operative. As performers, they are single-take artistes, who absorb the character’s requirements before the shoot and fully focussed themselves amid their shots. The film is blended with both horror and emotion.
