Morning joggers find it most susceptible to being mowed down by reckless and negligent drivers of four wheelers and two wheelers. They care too hoots to joggers and drive in such manner as if they own the roads mindless to the life of the joggers.

A most shocking and nerve-wrecking news comes to the fore of a Tech Firm CEO 57 year old Rajalaksmi Ram Krishnan, a Matunga resident, who was mowed down by a speeding four wheeler at Worli Sea Face on Sunday morning while she was on a morning walk. The 23 year injured driver of a Tata Nexon EV car
identified as Sumer Merchant, was arrested from the spot after the accident.

As per police reports, ccording the accident occured near Worli Milk Dairy at around 6.30 am
The woman was rushed to the nearby Worli Podar hospital where she was declared dead.
She was a regular runner.

However, eye witnesses reveal that impact of the collision was such heavy and with car in high speed, the woman was literally flung several feet into the air and died from head injuries.

Meanwhile as per Worli Police further investigation into the matter is underway.

Rajalakshmi was the CEO of Altruist Technologies private Ltd., She had recently taken part in the Tata Mumbai Marathon 2023 and was part of a jogger’s group from Shivaji Park who staged a strong protest over the accident.

The police have yet to decide on the IPC sections and have ordered a medical examination to ascertain whether driver was in an inebriated mood.
Meanwhile driver Sumer informed police that he lost control of the vehicle and struck the divider before colliding with the woman.
