Actor Rani Mukerji rings in her 45th Birthday today 21 March
There isn’t a doubt that Rani Mukerji is credited as one of the most talented actors in the Indian Film Industry.
She faced the arc lights in the mid-90s and soom catapulted to fame with films like Ghulam and Kuch Kuch Hota Hai.

*Black – Sanjay Leela Bhansali directorial was released in 2005 and featured Amitabh Bachchan and Rani Mukerji in the lead roles. Rani received a lot of appreciation from her fans and critics for her performance in the film. The film turned a blockbuster
at the box office. The film bagged three national awards in the Best Feature Film, Best Actor and Best Costume Design categories.
*Mardaani – Helmed by Pradeep Sarkar, Rani essayed the role of a cop in the mystery thriller film and earned huge appreciation for her performance. The film also featured Tahir Raj Bhasin in the lead role. The 2014 released film was a hit followed by a hit sequel *Mardaani released in 2019. This marked actor Vishal Jethwa’s Bollywood debut.

Rani’s performance in the film on which she essayed the role of a teacher was her career-best.
The film madeva worldwide collection of over Rs 250 crore. Besides the collections, Hichki also won top awards at many international film festivals. In the film, Rani portrayed the role of a teacher who suffered a unique speech disorder.

based on a true story in which Rani played the role of a reporter who spent years looking for justice for the deceased girl.
