Illegal shrine in Kalyan MNS Chief Raj Thackeray raises issue on

After MNS chie Raj Thackeray raised issue on illegal dargah in Mumbai, his party workers raised issue of ‘illegal’ shrine in Kalyan

Following MNS Chief Raj Thackeray’s issues on the ‘illegal Dargah’ inside seashore in Mumbai which the BMC razed the MNS leaders in Kalyan have also raised the issue on an “illegal” shrine that has cropped on a private land.

As per MNS’ Ward President Mahesh Bankar, he has written a letter to Kalyan-Dombivli Municipal Corporation as well as local police for removal of the “illegal” shrine within a week or else they will be left with no option but to construct a lord Ram temple near the same.

According to Bankar who raised the issue in his letter to KDMC commissioner Dr Bhausaheb Dangade, an illegal shrine has been constructed on a private land on roadside near Hindu cemetery owned by Ashok Shinde. If the same is not removed within a week then on adjoining land Lord Ram temple will be constructed.

Bankar alleges that the land was earlier used by Shinde for farming purpose, but for last few years it was not used for farming.

Meanwhile adda Bankar added, he recently noticed some peoples movement there, and found an “illegal” shrine on the land.

Bankar later approached Shinde to enquire if he has given any permission. But, upon Shinde’s refusal, he complained on the illegal shrine to KDMC asking to remove the same.

However, Land owner Shinde makes it known that the Land belongs to him and the shrine(mazar) has come up illegally on his land. Hence it is a request to KMDC to initiate

However, according to KDMC’s ward officer Tushwar Sonawane, told the media that they have received the complaint and verification to the fact that afte fact checking land documents as per finding further action will be taken.
