Samantha Ruth Prabhu is no stranger in the entertainment industry. She is among the most celebrated and adored actor in Bollywood and South Film industry. She is currently all set for the theatrical release of Shaakuntalam.
Following the trailer’s release, fans are much elated on the film. Amid the recent promotions of the film the actor spilled the beans on pay parity and unabashedly shared her opinion.
Sam enjoys a massive fanbase, and never misses an opportunity when it comes to interacting with her fans. Be it reacting to any rumour on her to even indulging in social media banters, she knows how to treat her fans. She is also recognised for being exceptionally honest.
On the pay parity in the film industry she attributed that she is fighting hard, not directly…it’s not like she is fighting to be equally remunerated. She wants it to be a byproduct of the hard work and success. People should just come and say, ‘
Yes, we want to pay you this much.’ She doesn’t have to beg for it. She believes that comes with an incredible amount of hard work.

For the unversed, last year Samantha Ruth Prabhu was diagnosed with Myositis, a rare auto-immune disease.
Taking a break from the shoot, she invested her time into treatment, and now she has bounced back.
On the work front, Samantha will be sharing screen space with Varun Dhawan in Citadel. Apart it, she also has another project lined up with Vijay Deverakonda, Khushi, which is slated for theatrical release on September 1, 2023.
