With the 86 year old Pontiff Pope Francis suffering from respiratory infection and admitted to hospital, Prime Minister Narendra Modi
wishes the Pope for good health and speedy recovery.
As per Vatican news, the Pontiff will remain under observation for a few days,. He is not suffering from Covid-19 Pandemic.
Pope Francis is touched by the many messages received and expresses his gratitude for the closeness and prayer reports Vatican.
Francis sometimes slips into breathing problems and generally more exposed to respiratory problems, having had part of one lung removed in his early 20s when training to be a priest in his native Argentina.
His latest hospitalisation comes ahead of a Palm Sunday service on 2 April that marks the start of a busy week of ceremonies leading to Easter Sunday on 9 April, throwing into doubt whether he would be able to lead them as customary.
Prior to hospitalization, in the day, Pope attended his weekly general audience at the Vatican and had appeared in good health.
