Samantha’s Loses Rashmika Gains with Shakuntalam

Undoubtedly, Samantha Ruth Prabhu hailed as one among the star heroines in the South is currently busy in the promotion of her film titled, Shakuntalam. Meanwhile, she has hit the headlines for some other news, which comes as a rude surprise.

Samantha was offered an interesting film which she turned down, and which was grabbed by other actor.
The film is Rainbow.

Rainbow was first lapped up to Samantha. She couldnt accept as her schedule went haywire over health issues and she even had to let go off a few.

Thus Rashmika bagged her first female-centric film. It looks like this is the back story of how Rashmika bagged the project.

The debutant Shantharuban directorial “Rainbow” is a breezy romantic fantasy. Coincidentally, Samantha’s co-star in Shaakuntalam, Dev Mohan, is a part of the film as the male lead.

The film is produced by SR Prabhu and SR Prakash Babu under the banner of Dream Warrior Pictures. The regular shooting of Rainbow kicks-off from April 7.

Regardless of not signing the film , she already has a couple of other female-centric films.

But this is the first female-centric film for Rashmika, and it has to be seen how she will deal with it. She will definitely enter the big league of heroines if it becomes a hit.
