An unfortunate incident occured amid Rig collapses at actor-singer-filmmaker Farhan Akhtar’s Concert in Indore. Rib collapsed owing to the impact by a dust storm. Shocking visuals surfaced.
The concert had thus to be cancelled and rescheduled for April 7.
It so happened that when Farhan was scheduled to perform at Bansal Group of Institutes (BGI), Indore, at their mega annual fest, the event was disrupted by the storm.
Shocking visuals of the venue have surfaced online in which the stage and equipment can be seen damaged caused by the storm.
In a video doing the rounds on the internet, the entire rig can be seen collapsing on the stage, with people rushing in to get the equipment out. The lights and sound systems can be seen damaged due to the incident.
No injuries were reported at the venue. According to the organisers, the concert had to be cancelled and rescheduled for April 7.
Post the BGI fest, Farhan gears up to embark on a countrywide tour to perform original songs from his album ‘Echoes’.
He has shows scheduled in Hyderabad, Jaipur, Bengaluru, Indore and Kolkata.
On the film front, Farhan is currently prepping for his much-hyped film ‘Jee Le Zaraa’, featuring Alia Bhatt, Katrina Kaif and Priyanka Chopra Jonas. The film is a Farhan Akhtar directorial and apart his concerts, he is also found going on a recce for the film’s shoot.
Meanwhile, no official release date has been announced yet,
but it is expected to go on floors by the end of this year.
