Amit Shah’s visits Mumbai on 15-16 Mumbai police issues prohibitory orders
Ahead of the visit of Union Home Minister Amit Shah to Mumbai on 15-16, on precautionary measures, Mumbai Police has issued prohibitory orders.
No drone, para gliders, all types of balloons, kites and remote control microlight aircraft flying activities will be allowed

As per Mumbai Police, the order is issued in view of the prevailing situation in the areas under control of the Commissioner of Police, Brihanmumbai.
There is a fear of Terrorist-Anti social elements attack using drone, para gliders, remote control microlight Aircraft. There is also likelihood of breach of peace and disturbance of public tranquility and grave danger to the human life, health, safety and injury to public property.
The order further mentions that on15 and 16 April, on the Home Minister’s visit, a large number of VIPS, various officers are expected to attend the program. It is necessary that some checks should be put on activities around Mumbai.
According to Mumbai Police, no activities will be allowed in jurisdiction of Airport Police Station, Sahar Police Station, Colaba Police Station, Vile Parle Police Station, Kherwadi Police Station, Vakola Police Station, Bandra Police Station, Worli Police Station, Gamdevi Police Station, D.B. Marg
Police Station, Marine Drive Police Station, Cuffe Parade Police Station and Malabar Hill Police Station.
Mesnwhile as per the order,
any person or persons violating h this order shall be punishable under Section 188 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860,” the order said.
The prohibitory order comes from Vishal Thakur, Deputy Commissioner of Police, (Operations), Mumbai.
