An owner of an event company has filed a complaint against Honey Singh and others for keeping him captive and assaulting him.

A police complaint has been lodged against Bollywood singer and rapper Honey Singh for allegedly kidnapping and assaulting an event organiser in Maharashtra’s Mumbai, officials said on Thursday. According to Mumbai Police, a person named, Vivek Raman has given a written complaint against Honey Singh and others at the BKC police station in Mumbai.

Mumbai Police reports that Vivek Raman, owner of an event company, has lodged a complaint against singer and rapper Honey Singh and others for kidnapping, keeping him captive, and for assaulting him.

As per Raman’s complaint, He Honey Singh kidnapped him and kept him captive and assaulted him in a Mumbai Hotel located in the suburbs of the city.

According to Raman’s complaint lodged on 19 April, he had organised an event for the singer at Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC) in Mumbai on April 15. Due to infraction over money transaction, the event had to be put off.

Reportedly, the cancellation of the event, seem to have irked singer and rapper Honey Singh and his associates who later abducted him, held him hostage in a hotel and assaulted him.

Police reveals that Raman demanded a case be registered and to arrest Honey Singh and his associates.

Meanwhile, the police added that a probe into the matter is underway.
