In the evening it becomes extremely for public to walk freely with the movement of vehicles plus the hawkers on one side. The people waiting for the AC Buses feel it inconvenient to stand.
Overall it is a good and sensible initiation by the civic body.

As per BMC Officials, the demolition of the structures will facilitate smooth movement of traffic and benefit commuters. Prior to the demolition, the narrow road opposite the Malad Railway Station mostly occupied by hawkers was an inconvenience to traffic and public movement.
