For Zarina Wahab mother of Sooraj Pancholi, it was God alone who served justice in Jia Khan suicide case and acquiting her son. She had reposed faith in Almighty God and her sincere prayers got answered.
On Friday, an auspicious day for Muslims, CBI Special Court acquitted actor Sooraj Pancholi of all charges including abetment of suicide of fellow actor Jiah Khan in 2013. Sooraj’s mother, Zarina Wahab, is overjoyed that justice has been done and cannot thank God enough for finally bringing the truth to light in front of the entire world.
“Zarina added “Kehte hain na bhagwaan ke ghar der hai, andher nahi ( In God’s abode there is light, no darkness).This was an excellent illustration of it. 10 years is a long time, but God is amazing.
Speaking to KV Raman, Sr.Correspondent, Nation Now News, Zarina said
“Mujhe sirf upar wale par hi bharosa tha,” (She trusted only Almighty God). The verdict came to the Pancholis as a sigh of big relief after 10 years.
Meanwhile, as the Pancholi family celebrates the case’s triumph, as per Jiah Khan’s mother, Rabya Khan, she will continue her battle and seek fighting justice for her daughter.
When asked Zarina for her reaction to Rabias statement, she said “Usko maine Allah he hawaale kar dia hai and wahi jawaab dega. I have nothing to say to her. God always serves justice and he did it this time as well. Jo Rabya ke saath karna hai, wo Allah hi karega. If she wants to continue fighting, let her do it. She also knows what the truth is. Maloom hone ke baad bhi woh aisa kar rahi hai, toh it’s her personal lookout. I don’t have anything to add to that.”concluded Zarina.
Zarina further went on to say that she Almighty Allah who opened his eyes and has finally served the justice in Jiah Khan suicide case.
Zarina claims she had no expectations from anyone throughout these 10 years.
“We never begged for assistance. Na kuch maanga, humne na kisi ke aage haath phelaaye. Sirf supar waale se hi dua maangte the aur upar wale ne humaari sunn li. He took his own time, par insaaf toh mila,”
further adding that a lot has happened in the past decade.
While Sooraj reeled through tough times, the family lived in constant anxiety. “Bahut saari cheezein hui in 10 saalon mein. Jo hona nahi tha, wo ho gaya. But what can we do now. We can’t change what has happened. 10 saal nikal gaye par lagta hai ki jaise sab kal ki baat hai.”
The CBI Special Court verdict has atleast given peace of mind to the Pancholis. After this now Sooraj gets a new life..He will definitely do something better and good in life and career now,” she concludes.
