BCCI penalises Virat Kohli Gautam Gambhir Naveen-ul-Haq for ugly fight in IPL 2023
BCCI on Monday fined RCB stalwart Virat Kohli and LSG mentor Gautam Gambhir with 100% of their match fees for fiery on-field faceoff after they were found guilty of a Level 2 offence whereas Naveen-ul-Haq lost 50% of his match fees for his Level 1 offence following their ugly brawl and for breaching the IPL Code of Conduct 2.21 amid the Lucknow Super Giants and Royal Challengers Bangalore match at the Ekana Stadium in Lucknow on Monday 1 May 2023
Gambhir, Kohli and Naveen admitted to their respective offences and accepted the sanctions.
