Battle amidst ‘Jawan’ (SRK) and ‘Animal’ (Ranbir Kapoor) over film release
Late Gulshan Kumar founded T-series office saw the visit by two big Bollywood actors Ranbir Kapoor and Shah Rukh Khan on Friday.
It is learnt from sources close to T-series production house that Ranbir was there in connection with release of T.Series project ‘Animal’ in which he is the hero on August 11 and Shah Rukh Khan starrer ‘Jawan’ also releasing on the same date. Kapoor and Shah Rukh Khan over shift of release dates. Ranbir wanted Shah Rukh Khan to postpone release of ‘Jawan’ by a few weeks. The film is produced by Gauri Khan and directed by Atlee.
As per Ranbir if Shah Rukh Khan cooperates, ‘Animal’ will get a clear release.
Time and again, in the past, it has been noted that a clash of big films need to be avoided as they eat into each other’s business. If ‘Jawan’ is delayed, it would be a magnanimous move by SRK.
The source adds that Ranbir would obviously be happy if Shah Rukh and Gauri Khan agree for the shift in release date.
The theatres too would prefer to let not the two films clash.
the clash to not happen and love both the films to run well. Actually, both movies are believed to have been made well with very interesting plots.
After ‘Jawan’, Shah Rukh will later be seen in Rajkumar Hirani’s ‘Dunki,’ which is as of now slated to hit the screens in December this year and has Taapsee Pannu in the female lead’s role.
‘Jawan’ has Nayanthara opposite Shah Rukh and besides RK, ‘Animal’ has Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Parineeti Chopra and Prem Chopra.
