Vivek Agnihotri ‘Kashmir Files’ maker takes indirect jibe on Sonakshi Sinha Dimple Kapadia

The Kashmir Files’ Director Vivek Agnihotri is headlining these days for one reason or the other and gets mired in controversies. When his Kashmir Files never made it the Oscars and when RRR bagged it he started commenting. He was upset that The Kashmir Files which true story was not considered even for nomination.

This time around he has indirectly taken a jibe at Sonakshi Sinha “Dahaad” and Dimple Kapadia “Saas, Bahu Aur Flamingo”. He seems to be feeling uncomfortable over Sonakshi Sinha who plays a cop in Dahaad wears skin tight khaki trousers with heavy makeup.

It’s a known fact that Vivek Agnihotri bluntly voices his opinion on anything and everything happening across the Hindi film industry. The filmmaker has often made headlines for his last release, The Kashmir Files, and till now he is mired in controversies ever since it was announced.

Recently Vivek took to his twitter to pen a cryptic Tweet about Bollywood, who have been saying 3 Rajasthani words while playing their character.

Dimple Kapadia and Sonakshi Sinha have been playing Rajasthani characters in recent OTT projects “Saas, Bahu Aur Flamingo” (Dimple) and Dahaad
(Sonakshi Sinha) respectively.

Over his lenghty tweet the director has called out the actress for wearing tight fitted Khaki uniform with tons of make-up. While he hasn’t named anyone in his Tweet but one can judge that it looked an indirect jibe at Sonakshi Sinha in Dahaad and Dimple in
“Saas, Bahu Aur Flamingo”
we wonder if it looks like an indirect jibe at Sonakshi Sinha.

Vivek makes few observations on Bollywood actresses playing Rajasthani characters and delivering the Rajasthani dialogues ” हुक़ुम… म्हारो… थारो… they can become Rajasthani characters. Rest of the dialogues they can speak in their Punjabi, Bambaiya, Tamil, Kannada accent.

Vivek Agnihotri, further continued his list talking about his observatiobs on actors performing Rajasthani roles.

He further wrote, If you make ultra modern looking, fair and lovely, urban actors utter few Rajasthani words and abuse unnecessarily, the audience is so stupid that they will believe that these actors are indeed Rajasthani. Vivek gives few tips to heroines- by saying हुक़ुम… म्हारो… थारो… they cannot become Rajasthani characters.
