Anushka Sharma Sakshi Dhoni were classmates went to same school
It has been rightly advocated that humans have long lives and they live in a small world. This stands absolutely true for Anushka Sharma and Sakshi Dhoni (MS Dhoni’s wife). It is learnt that the two of them were classmates when they were kids and students of St Mary’s School, Margherita in Assam.
Anushka’s father, Colonel (Retd.) Ajay Kumar Sharma was in the Indian Army and the family moved around quite a lot when she was younger. Back in 2013, amid a launch event Anushka revealed that she got reunited with Sakshi after many years of leaving school. She said that when Sakshi told her about her stay in Assam, she remembered that she also stayed in the same area and then they both realised that they went to the same school.
Anushka also added that later she found an old pic of Sakshi dressed as a fairy, while she was dressed in a ghagra like her favourite actress Madhuri Dixit.
After their schooling, Anushka went on to become a successful actress while pursuing her career in Indian cinema, whereas Sakshi studied hotel management. Anushka will next be seen in Chakda Xpress, which is inspired by the life and times of Indian women’s cricket fast bowler Jhulan Goswami.
