Veteran Filmmaker Showman Subhash Ghai announces Mukta Arts’ release of first TV series “Jaanaki”
On World Yoga Day today, 21 June, Veteran Filmmaker Subhash Ghai announced the July release of Mukta Arts’ first TV series “Jaanaki”
For those unversed, Subhash Ghai has delivered some of Hindi cinema’s biggest blockbusters like Karz, Ram Lakhan, and Pardes. Now the veteran filmmaker ventures into the realm of television.
With Jaanaki, he gears up to explore a new territory. The script for the show has been penned by Jainesh Ezardar, Vandana Tiwari, Surabhi Rohini and Rekha Babbal.
Whereas Rutuja Kathe is the creative director, Jignesh Vaishnav and Dharmesh have helmed the series. Rahul Puri produces the series with Vishal Gandhi is the associate producer.
Jaanaki is touted to be an enthralling tale of women empowerment that will be broadcast on Doordarshan next month. Transmitting his enthusiasm on this new venture, Subhash Ghai shared that he feels thrilled to explore the golden world of television with “Jaanaki”. The recent turn of events provided him with the opportunity to delve into the intricacies of creating a television show. The success of Mukta Arts’ web series 36 Farmhouse further ignited his curiosity to explore different mediums, ultimately leading to the creation of “Jaanaki” which will be aired next month.

Meanwhile, it is learnt that Mukta Arts, the production house behind the show, gears up to to premiere it in July. Subhash Ghai is yet to announce the lead cast of his upcoming television show.
