A decade of impact: CACR’s commitment to behavioural change and sustainability

Khar Gymkhana, Mumbai, 24th June – Citizens Association for Child Rights (CACR), a leading Section 8 registered non-profit organization, marked a significant milestone yesterday as they celebrated their highly anticipated decennial event at the prestigious Presidential Hall in Khar Gymkhana.

The event brought together a spirited crowd of over 100 distinguished guests, who joined team CACR in commemorating ten years of tireless dedication towards improving the lives of underprivileged children and building sustainable communities.

Under the overarching theme of “Collaborating for Change: Strengthening Partnerships and Building Sustainable Communities,” CACR showcased the remarkable impact they have made in key areas such as WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene), Education, Nutrition, Gender Equality, and Child Protection. The event served as a testament to the organization’s unwavering commitment to uplifting disadvantaged children and fostering lasting change within society.

One of the most captivating highlights of the event was the awe-inspiring dance performances by students from local Municipal schools. These talented young individuals showcased various dance styles, including the vibrant and traditional lavni, enchanting the audience with their impeccable skills and exuberant energy. It was an extraordinary moment, as the students who performed were beneficiaries of CACR’s programs, directly demonstrating the organization’s impactful work in the very schools where these students hailed from

The evening commenced with the unveiling of CACR’s corporate video, which beautifully captured the essence of the organization’s journey and the countless lives they have touched. CACR’s directors, Nitin Wadhwani, Indrani Malkani, and Mohinder Pal Singh Bachher, warmly welcomed the guests and led a captivating panel discussion, shedding light on CACR’s remarkable journey and the collaborative efforts that have contributed to their success. The esteemed panelists shared their experiences as partners of CACR, highlighting the organization’s meticulous approach to program implementation and its unwavering commitment to generating positive change in the lives of underprivileged children and communities.

The event was graced by the presence of esteemed dignitaries, including Mr. Ajit Kumbhar, the Jt. Municipal Commissioner of Education in the BMC, Mrs. Rema Mohan, the Chief Executive Officer of NSE Foundation, and Mr. Dileep Joshi, the Global Chief Human Resource Officer.

These distinguished guests actively participated in the panel discussion, emphasizing the significance of partnerships and the transformative impact achieved through collaborative efforts. Mrs. Mohan commended CACR for their meticulous attention to detail, evident in their project reports and implementation strategies.

The event ended with Mohinder Pal Singh Bachher giving the vote of thanks to the guests n also thanked the CACR Staff for the Excellent Arrangements which made the celebrations Successful.
