Krishna Hegde, apart from being the Spokesperson of the Shiv Sena is a staunch supporter of Chief Minister Eknath Shinde.
He is widely credited with the election wins of Sunil Dutt and Priya Dutt to the Lok Sabha when he was Mumbai Congress Spokesperson.
He later quit the Congress and joined the Shiv Sena led by Uddhav Thackeray. Infact he was close to the Dutts – Sunil Dutt, Nargis Dutt. He has helped several Leaders win elections and was himself elected as MLA from the prestigious Vile Parle Constituency.
Apart from being nominated as Best MLA by Newsmakers he was also selected by Asian Age newspaper as amongst top 9 Mumbaikars of 2009.
The list included the likes of Aamir Khan n Sachin Tendulkar.
He is credited of making the Milan Subway flyover a much required project for Mumbai and the flyover to Terminal 2 Airport a reality.
He has also secured the release of 2 Indians who were lodged in Pakistan jail for 7 years each.
With other 700 development projects to his credit he maintains a low profile though seen on almost every National Tv Channel everyday.
Krishna believes by helping others is hugely empowering and, in turn, can make one feel happier and more fulfilled.
It was due to Krishna Hegde’s efforts through Kamgar Seva Sangh ,a registered union for Auto Rickshaw drivers that Share a Rickshaw scheme was implemented onn10 routes and is the person who moved the then Maharashtra Home Minister to install 5000 CCTV cameras across Mumbai for the safety of Mumbaikars.
A multifaceted person he has also done a cameo role in a Madhur Bhandarkar film alongside Actor Emraan Hashmi.
