AR Rahman credits wife Saira Banu for his fashion choices
It’s a well-known fact that im the Indian Entertainment Industry that the Oscar-winning music singer-composer A.R. Rahman and his media-shy wife Saira Banu make for a stylish couple at various events.
Nonetheless, Rahman credits his fashion choices to his wife, revealing that he wears whatever she tells him to wear.
In an earlier media interaction, Rahman shared, that actually his wife takes styling seriously. She dresses him up. For the past 10 to 15 years, she’s been buying stuff, and she thinks it’ll be cool. Rahman thinks that she loves doing that stuff. So it’s all her thing. When she gets stuff and tells me to wear it, he wears it. So all the swag comes from her adding that she’s a bit traditional. In fact, she often chooses black, and he asks her if he could have another color for a change, and she agrees. She’s very stubborn and very particular on things.
