President Droupadi Murmu arrived in Mumbai on Thursday to visit Mumbai’s famous place of worship the Shri Siddhivinayak Temple in Prabhadevi. This was her first ever Mumbai visit after she assumed office as President of India.

Reportedly, the Mumbai Traffic Police had set up temporary traffic arrangements to ensure the smooth flow of traffic and the safety of all individuals amid the visit of the President to the Shri Siddhivinayak Temple.

The traffic notification had requested commuters and residents to cooperate with the authorities and follow the designated alternate routes to avoid any inconvenience.

President Droupadi Murmu arrived in Nagpur on Tuesday on her three day visit to Maharashtra, marking her first visit to the state since assuming office as the President in July of last year.
