Veteran-actor-turned filmmaker Mohanlal’s “Vrushabha” is making headlines. Last week reports revealed that filmmaker Ekta Kapoor has collaborated with Mohanlal for Vrushabha. It also marks the reputed producer’s first pan-India film.

Now yet another news comes to the fore that Zahrah S Khan
has boarded “Vrushabha”.

For the unversed, Zahrah Khan is the daughter of veteran actor-singer Salma Agha.A

A source informs that “Casting Zahrah S Khan works for the makers. She’s talented, very glamorous and already has a huge fan-following. Thanks to her videos and songs. That her presence will add to the pan-India appeal of the film.

Earlier Zahrah S Khan has rendered popular songs like ‘The Punjaabban Song’ from JugJugg Jeeyo, ‘Kusu Kusu’ from Satyameva Jayate 2 , etc. She has been a part of videos like ‘Oops’ with King, ‘Main Tenu Chadh Jaungi’ with Shaheer Sheikh, ‘Tera Saath Ho’ with Guru Randhawa and Karan Wahi, etc. Last month, it was announced that she’ll feature in a song with Tiger Shroff.

Vrushabha is expected to be mounted on a grand scale and rumoured to be a Rs. 200 crores project. Apart from Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji Telefilms, the film is produced by AVS Studios and Connect Media.

Meanwhile, the announcement of Vrushabha was made in August 2022. The multilingual drama will be helmed by Nanda Kishore and will hit theatres in 2024. It will be released in Malayalam, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Hindi.

Notably, Vrushabha, is Mohanlal’s ambitious, grand film which will be made at a MASSIVE budget of over
Rs. 200 crores.
