Former -Maha Minister Bachu Kadu slams Cricket Legend Sachin Tendulkar for promoting Gambling Apps
The availability of internet has made online gambling accessible to all whether the person is a minor or an adult.
And major part of internet users are the young generation who constantly want to figure out easy ways of making money. It makes them addictive and destroys their career.
Now Maharashtra’s former Minister Bachu Kadu, has strongly reacted to such gambling apps.
Recently, he has targeted Cricket Legend Sachin Tendulkar for promoting gambling applications like “Paytm First to significant effect”.
According to Bachu Kadu, as a recepient of the highest civilian award the Bharat Ratna, Sachin Tendulkar should intermit to
connive at such applications and called for the Maharashtra Government to ban such applications.
Bachu made a statement on Twitter and spoke in Marathi:
“As a Bharat Ratna recepient, it is not beffiting for a person of Sachin’s stature who has massive fan following to advertise a gambling app like Paytm First.
He requests the Maharashtra Government to ban this app with immediate effect and Sachin Tendulkar to desist from doing such ads.
The former Indian captain happens to be the highest century-maker in both formats, accumulating 51 Test hundreds and 49 ODI tons, respectively. Tendulkar played for the Mumbai Indians from 2008-2013 and was part of the title-winning squad in his final year. He is currently working as the mentor of the franchise.
