Shabana Azmi Javed Akhtar reunite with Roshans Rakesh and Pinkie in Khandala
Veteran actress and Script Writer-Lyricist Javed Akhtar recently reunited with Rakesh and Pinkie Roshan and spent an evening at the latter’s Khandala home. Some common friends also joined the celebrity couples.
Shabana shared a picture from the reunion and mentioned that notwithstanding being neighbours in Mumbai, they mostly meet, when they are in Khandala.
Sharing the picture on Instagram, Shabana Azmi wrote, that they enjoyed a lovely evening at Rakesh and Pinkie Roshan’s lovely home in Khandala . They are neighbours in Mumbai too, but meet up far more often in Khandala. Just a 2 hours drive from Mumbai and it becomes a different world!
Shabana’s picture garnered comments from fans and users. Richa Chadha reacted to the picture, commenting, “You all look (fire emojis).

Rakesh Roshan is currently planning to shoot Krrish 4. He had last helmed Kaabil, featuring his son Hrithik Roshan and Yami Gautam.
Recently, Shabana was in Australia’s Melbourne for the 14th edition of the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne. She was in there for the screening of her film Ghoomer and also hoisted the tricolour Indian flag as part of the Independence Day celebration.
On receiving the opportunity to hoist the tri-colour in Australia, Shabana said that to be honoured to hoist the Indian flag, she feels immensely proud. She couldn’t believe it. She reiterated that we are here to celebrate Indian cinema in Melbourne, and she truly believes that art knows no boundaries and cinema can be an instrument for social change.
On the work front, Shabana plays the role of a paraplegic cricketer’s (Saiyami Kher) mother in Ghoomer, which features Abhishek Bachchan as the coach. The film released in theatres on Friday.
Shabana was also seen in Karan Johar’s Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahaani. The film also featured Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan, Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh.
