NCP members align with BJP after ED action Jayant Patil to join BJP???
In the midst of speculations of NCP’s Jayant Patil joining BJP, as per the NCP Chief, Sharad Pawar some colleagues got associated with the BJP after central agencies served them notices.
However, Pawar articulated confidence in Patil and his ideologies. He also made it aptly clear that there isn’t any such as confusion within the MVA alliance over his meet with nephew Ajit Pawar. For the first time, Pawar paid a visit to Baramati after Ajit Pawar joined BJP-Shiv Sena. On the other hand, MVA constituents Congress and Shiv Sena deemed for clarification from Pawar over the meetings to which Pawar reiterated that in no way will the faction align with BJP.
With conjectures surrounding Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) state unit chief Jayant Patil’s ally with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Sharad Pawar on Monday asserted that Jayant Patil is firm on his ideologies.
Speaking to media personnel in at his Baramati hometown, Pawar said, “Similar attempts are being made with Jayant Patil and he expresses confidence on him, and his stand regarding his clear ideology.
Meanwhile, last week the ED had interrogated Patil’s brother Jaisingrao Patil Enforcement Directorate (ED) last after he received notice from the central agency.
The topic of Patil switching sides to BJP was discussed amid Saturday’s meeting amidst Pawar senior and his nephew Ajit Pawar. There wasn’t any such discussion on Jayant Patil, although he received information on his brother getting an ED notice. Such steps are taken with misuse of power.
The NCP president also wanted to underline that there is no confusion within the opposition Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) alliance over his meeting with Ajit Pawar.
The Pune meet lasted for over three and a half hours at the residence of businessman Atul Chordia in Koregaon park which led to eyebrows raising in political circles, as Pawar is about to resume his public rallies to connect with his support base later this week.
According to Pawar, the alliance of opposition parties in Maharashtra is united and we will successfully organise the next meeting of opposition bloc INDIA in Mumbai on August 31 and September 1.”
After his Pune meeting, which both sides tried to keep under wraps even as visuals aired by some television channels revealed over the meet, MVA constituents Congress and Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray) asked the
But, with the confusion, a visibly upset Pawar senior asked media not to create more confusion by asking the same question. Earlier at Solapur on Sunday, the 82-year-old leader had said that meeting a member of the family cannot be an issue of debate. He is much aware know how much you know, but Ajit is my nephew and is part of the Pawar family,.she the eldest. So, if anyone is coming to meet the eldest person in the family, or that elderly calls someone to meet, it cannot be a topic of debate.” He also reiterated that his faction will not go with Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
The NCP has no association with “factions from MVA” which align with the BJP at the state and national and level, Pawar senior said at Baramati, alluding to the move by his nephew.
The NCP founder also gave a slip to a question on an editorial in Monday’s issue of Shiv Sena (UBT) mouthpiece ‘Saamana’ voicing displeasure over the frequent meetings amidst him and Ajit Pawar.
