B’wood Celebs Amitabh Bachchan, Kareena Kapoor Khan and others react to Chandrayaan 3’s landing on the Moon
Chandrayaan-3, the third lunar mission of the Indian Space Research Organisation, launched on July 14 landed successfully and safely on the Moon today, August 23 at 6:04 pm. The mission”s lander has been named Vikram after scientist Vikram Sarabhai and has garnered excitement and pride from many Bollywood celebrities who took to social media to express their support. The landing is a revolutionary.
On Wednesday, the Moon”s South Pole emerged as the landing site for the spacecraft. Badshah, a rapper, expressed his celebratory wishes for the landing on Twitter and wrote, ‘Aa gayi ghadi hai dekho sabse badi, hai humse bas do kadam pe dekho jeet khadi! Chandrayaan3Landing isro.’
Expressing his excitement and happiness, Riteish Deshmukh shared a photo of himself wearing an ISRO t-shirt on Twitter. He wrote, Chandrayaan 3 Landed safely at 6.04 PM…
Taking to his Instagram account, Anupam Kher took to posted a video and wrote,
‘Aaj ghar ke mandir mein Chandrayaan3 ki safalta ke liye prathna ki. Humare isro.in ke vigyanik ke anthak prayatno ki mehnat rang lai, uske liye pooja ki. Sabhi vigyanikon ko advance mein shubhkamnaein avam badhai. Jai Mahadev. Jai Bajrang Bali. Jai Shree Ram. Jai Hind.’
Shekhar Kapur too shared a picture of the Moon and tweeted, ‘Almost 250.000 kms away today. India’s Chandrayaan 3 Mission will attempt a landing in the darkness .. on the far side of the moon. A billion hearts praying for its safe landing that will lead India to the forefront of the world’s exploration of space. Jai Hind. isro india.’
In the most recent episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati 15, Amitabh Bachchan expressed his desire for the safe landing of the mission. He also recited a few lines regarding the Vikram lander”s rendezvous with “Chanda Mama”. He said, ‘Aj shaam ko jab chand niklega na, toh uss chand ki mitti par humare desh ke kadmon ki chaap hogi. Aj hamara Chandrayaan-3, apne Maama ke ghar, yaani ke Chanda maama ke ghar pahunch gaya humare bachpan ke kahaniyon ka chand, premika ke chehre ka chand, vrat aur tyoharon ka chaand apne desh ki pahuch mein hoga.’
Kareena Kapoor Khan said, ‘It’s a great and proud moment for India and all the Indians. You feel that pride in your heart.
Taking to his twitter Madhavan wrote, ‘Chandrayaan-3 IS AN ABSOLUTE SUCCESS Congratulations isro.. on this spectacular success .. I AM SO SO HAPPY AND PROUD … congratulations to Nambi Official too .. Vikas engine delivers yet once again
Rishab Shetty shared the photos of the surface of the Moon and wrote, ‘today marks yet another milestone for India, thrilled to be part of witnessing this historic day.
Abhishek Bachchan said, he is feeling very proud. Our chests swells with pride because our space programme has reached the moon.’
Meanwhile, popular singer Hariharan said, ‘The entire country is together in this .. we can achieve everything when together.’
