Reacting to the reports emerging over the NCP split, Supriya Sule NCP MLA, clarified that the party is one as a family and only BJP is to be blamed:

Supriya Sule on NCP maintains that the party has faced an “emotional split”, l and that she will be fighting an ideological battle against her elder brother and Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar who has joined hands with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

Even as the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) has been encountering questions from many, including its MVA allies, on clearing its position over Sharad Pawar’s several meetings with Ajit Pawar after the split in NCP, the senior party leader and Lok Sabha MP Supriya Sule on Tuesday advocated that while they will persist to battle the ideological battle, they are “one as a family”.

Maintaining that the party has faced an “emotional split”, Sule said she will be fighting an ideological battle against her
elder brother and Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar who has joined hands with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

In her first detailed interview, following the split in the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP), Sule believes that the party from their end, will try best to keep the family intact.

Adding furthet, that they will try not to bring politics into the family. He has made a choice for himself as an Indian citizen in a democratic system.
Why a political battle amidst us? It is an ideological battle. Two ideologies will fight against each other, nevertheless, the party and members will be one as a family, but contest against each other ideologically.
