BJP MLC Prasad Lad elected Prez BEST union – Setback to Uddhav Thackeray

Prasad Lad, Vice-President MLC and President of Shramik Utkarsha Sabha, has been unanimously elected as the President of The Electric Union of Best Kamgar Sangathana, the recognised union which was with Uddhav Thackeray faction for several years.
More than 5,000 workers have mandated the appointment, paving way for the union to come under the control of BJP and its leader Prasad Lad from the control of Uddhav Thackeray for years.
As per Prasad Lad, since he is head of the Shramik Utkarsh Sabha, the leadership has been accepted. Suhas Samant, leader from Thackeray faction, has been the erstwhile president of the union.
Prasad Lad BEST UnionLad has also been appointed EOF Staff Union Maharashtra (Regd), also known as Bhavishya Nidhi Karmachari Sanghatana.
