Actress Minissha Lamba loses father Kawel Lamba Pens Emotional Note

Actress Minissha Lamba’s father Kawel Lamba bid adieu to mortality and moved to immortality on Monday September 4. Minissha shared the sad news on her Instagram social media account and penned an eulogy.

On the picture of her revered father Kawel Lamba she wrote that “Every thought of you is a beautiful memory. We love you and will miss you dearly”.

Sharing the pic, Minissha penned an emotional note
‘Dear Dad, everyone who knew you, always walked into a warm spot of summer sunshine in your presence. That a conversation with you would always be filled with laughter. You’d always have an apt, funny Punjabi saying that was perfect for any life situation. I have written down a lot of those gems over the years. A few lines are no where near enough to encompass an entire life and what you have meant to us (sic)”.

The ‘Badtameez Dil’ actress further wrote, ”Since the day I opened my eyes, you have been the constant that was there.. Loving, smiling, teaching, encouraging, nurturing..
Even admonishing was in the form of your trade mark, reservoir of great sayings. It definitely got the point across and did so with a smile. You will always be our spot of warm sunshine on a bright beautiful summer day (sic)”.

May Kawel Lamba’s soul rest in peace and we offer our heartfelt condolences to his family and friends.

Minissha Lamba, made her Bollywood debut in 2005 with the film ‘Yahaan’. Then she went on to appear in films like ‘Honeymoon Travels Pvt. Ltd.’, ‘Bachna Ae Haseeno’, ‘Well Done Abba’, ‘Bheja Fry 2’, ‘Kidnap’ and ‘Bhoomi’ among others.
In 2015, she wed restaurateur Ryan Tham and divorced in August 2020.
