FWICE stalls shoot of “Welcome to the Jungle” (Welcome 3) due to producers’s non-payment to technicians
FWICE writes to Akshay Kumar, Disha Patani and other actors of Welcome 3 to halt shoot owing to non-payment of dues by Firoz Nadiadwala
BN Tiwari, President of FWICE in an interaction with the media urged all the actors of the film.’Welcome 3″ including Akshay Kumar and Disha Patni that the federation strictly looks to the issue of a non- cooperation on the part of Producer Firoz Nadiadwala for default in payments, and that they should desist from shooting for the film till such time the alleged pending dues of Rs 2cr payable to the technicians is cleared.
Recently the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) appealed to Jyoti Deshpande, C.E.O, Viacom 18 and other actors-technicians of Firoz Nadiadwala’s film “Welcome to the Jungle” (Welcome 3) to pressurise the producer to clear the outstanding payment due and payable to filmmaker Anees Bazmee, whose cheques has allegedly bounced.
Reportedly, three years ago, FWICE had already warned Firoze Nadiadwala for non-coperation in regard to
non-payment of outstanding dues to technicians and also to the director Anees Bazmee.
Meanwhile, the FWICE is sticking to their stand and if an occasion arises will also proceed legally against producer Firoze Nadiadwala to pay up or face the consequences thereof.
The star-studded movie comprises Akshay Kumar, Sanjay Dutt, Suniel Shetty, Arshad Warsi, Paresh Rawal, Johny Lever, Rajpal Yadav, Tusshar Kapoor, Shreyas Talpade, Krushna Abhishek, Kiku Sharda, Raveena Tandon, Lara Dutta, Jacqueline Fernandez and Disha Patani. Singers Mika Singh and Daler Mehndi will also feature in the movie.

Meanwhile, as perJio Studios on YouTube Welcome 3 is set to release on December 20, 2024. The movie is being produced by Jyoti Deshpande and Firoz Nadiadwala and will be helmed by Ahmed Khan.
