Mumbai was a witness to some good rainfall activity in the midst of the weekend when in two days, the city recorded
187 mm of rains.

Infacf, the city saw intense rains after a long gap of almost dry weather conditions. However, in the past 24 hours there has been no rainfall.

The Weathermen Skymet predicts rains for the next three to four days, and however, Mumbai may continue to see weak Monsoon conditions with rains being on the lighter side. Only isolated pockets may see some moderate showers.

There are chances of the revival of rains due to formation of another system in the Bay of Bengal soon eventually to move towards Madhya Pradesh and adjoining regions. Thereafter, it likely that Monsoon conditions will be see around Mumbai and Konkan wherein the Bollywood City will see some mdoerate showers on September 16.

In the midst of September 17 and 18, the financial hub may see some heavy spells and possibly even three digit rain as well. Reportedly as per Skymet, rains will again become moderate after that around 19th.
